Ultra-fastGigabit business broadband is delivered over fibre optic cables. Fibre is far more reliable than old copper cables as it is not subject to interferences such as heat, cold, and water, nor is the speed available restricted by the length of the cable (distance from the exchange).
Also called a leased line, this is a dedicated (private) internet connection that, when compared to broadband services, used to have faster speeds (up to 10Gbps) and also guaranteed fix times. It is still true to say that this is the fastest and most reliable connection to the internet on a single fibre cable, but for how much longer?
